The Flyers were unbeaten in league play last season and finished 24-1 overall as Dewese led their offense with 3.8 k/s. She also added over 330 total assists. Entering her senior season, the Vanderbilt commit has career totals of 638 assists, 582 total kills, and 494 digs.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='232959' first='Wrigley' last='Takats'] - Perrysburg<br>Takats is the top returning offensive threat for Perrysburg following a 2022 season that saw them advance to the state semifinal round. The 6'2 senior middle provided good presence in the middle to help balance their offense and open space for their big pin point scorers. At 2.5 k/s she led the Yellow Jackets in attacking efficiency at .319. Where she also excelled in 2022 was on the defensive side as she contributed 3.4 blocks per match to improve her career blocking average to 3.2 b/m.</p>

With a career best 202 total kills for a season in 2022, she enters 2023 primed to score as she is the Wildcats' top returning offensive threat. She is a lefty that can generate big pace and her workload offensively is likely to increase in this coming season. For her career she has also averaged 6.0 d/m and 1.4 b/m, with over 400 digs in the most recent two seasons.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='227830' first='Mallory' last='Pike'] - Anthony Wayne<br>One of the top returning point scoring sophomores in the Toledo area, Pike has a big opportunity ahead of her to have a breakout season given the graduation of the Generals' top offensive arm from 2022. She had a great club season showcasing what she is capable of in her ability to terminate with high contact heat and movement at the top of her jump. She has great six-rotation skills that amounted to 2.8 k/s and 2.6 d/s, both second on the team last season. She led the Generals in service aces with 43. </p>

It was during her recent club season that she was identified as a high potential prospect as she filled the role as the primary setter for her team helping guide them to good success with consistency in her contact, tempo and location and a varied offense around the court. Capable of leading a 5-1 offense, she is likely to share the setting role again given the return of both setters from their 2022 14-11 season.</p>
