Her ability to push tempo and deliver the ball with pace rather than slowing the offense down keeps defenses off balance and puts her hitters in attacking situations they can thrive in. The processing speed she brings to the position allows her to read the defense on the move and make adjustments in real time rather than committing to a predetermined option on every possession. Cormier and her Flyers 16 USA – Mike team are entered in the 16 USA division this weekend in Utah. A talented playmaker, she’s capable of running the team’s offense in a very efficient and productive way and has been playing up with the club’s 18’s team this season as well. Cormier is excellent when setting against the flow of play and does a very good job of turning out-of-system passes into hittable sets with an incredible ability to send the ball to the pin from anywhere on the court. A lefty, she also serves very well and can be very aggressive with her setter dumps.
