What distinguished Sydney Hebert Sydney Hebert Sydney Hebert 5'8" | OH/MB Walnut Grove | 2030 TX throughout the Dallas Freshman Showcase was her ability to take what the defense was giving her rather than defaulting to the same shot every time. She read the block early in her approach and adjusted her hand position at contact to redirect the ball away from the coverage, which is a skill that requires both spatial awareness and the technical control to execute it under pressure. Her armswing mechanics were sound and she generated consistent velocity. In serve receive her platform and footwork looked like they were well coached. Court coaches noted the steadiness she brought to difficult moments and the way she reset mentally between points without carrying the previous rally into the next one. We think this young lady is a player to watch for all scouts and college coaches in this age group. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this showcase.
