Katy’s creative playmaker did a great job when running the team’s offense on Thursday, keeping all her hitters involved and in a rhythm. Adams is not one to overload her team’s main hitters during matches, but knows who to give the ball to when sets are on the line. The setter is very precise with her locations and remains accurate even when setting against the flow of play, but proved also to be very important in out-of-system plays, quickly getting to the ball and getting her hitter in a good position to score. She also got plenty of touches on defense and always looked very calm on the court.
