<p>This one looks at athletes in the class of 2027 who were among the league leaders in digs.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='480398' first='Amyah' last='Werth'], </strong>5'4”, L, Hillsboro, ‘27</p>

<p>Werth should be a familiar name to those in Hillsboro. This Werth is a spunky libero who racked up 497 digs during her freshman season. She also collected 634 serve receptions for the Trojans who won the Class 2A state tournament in Dodge City.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='434374' first='Kya' last='Behr'], </strong>5'9”, S/RS, Great Bend, ‘27 </p>

<p>Behr had 309 digs for the Panthers as a freshman. She was also among the state leaders in assists finishing with 589 in 82 sets played.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='483941' first='Paxton' last='Damme'], </strong>5'10”, OH, Perry-Lecompton, ‘27</p>

<p>Damme is an outside hitter who can play solid defense as well. In 85 sets played she finished with 304 digs and 362 serve receptions. She will be a player to keep an eye on moving forward.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='483945' first='Macy' last='Karlin']</strong>, 5'6”, OPP, Maranatha Christian Academy, ‘27</p>

<p>On paper, Karlin looks like the real deal. Her stat sheet sheet for 2023 needs two pages. She finished with 262 digs, 243 serve receptions, 145 kills, 67 assists, and 59 aces in 107 sets played. Those numbers are evidence that she could end up being a six-rotation player at the next level.</p>

<p>Yates Center has a couple of young talented athletes. One of those is Tidd who finished with 217 digs and 324 serve receptions for the Wildcats in 85 sets played 2023.</p>
