Houston I Top 250 Expo “Game Changers” Vol 1

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Prep Dig Houston I Top 250 Expo was absolutely amazing!  There were quite a few awesome players from all over Texas that participated in this wonderful event.  Volleyball is a true team sport in that it takes every single player to help a team compete.  However, every team across all of the age groups has one or two players that are considered “Game Changers”.  This moniker is given to those that literally change the dynamic of each team and give their squad a fighting chance to win.  After watching all of these wonderful players during the two-hour event, these were the players that I witnessed to be considered a true Game Changer for the Houston I Expo:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='226072' first='Dawn' last='Moore'] [2026] 5-9 Right Side/Setter (HS: Lake Ridge/Club: [program_tooltip program_id='431200' first='Madfrog' last='']/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:image {"align":"right","id":259786,"width":"130px","height":"auto","sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"none"} --> <figure class="wp-block-image alignright size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prepdig.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2022/12/33-Dawn-Moore.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-259786" style="width:130px;height:auto" /></figure> <!-- /wp:image --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Dawn is currently ranked as the 7^th best overall prospect in the 2026 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings.&nbsp; She plays for Mansfield Lake Ridge High School and also for the nationally recognized [program_tooltip program_id='431200' first='Madfrog' last=''] volleyball club.&nbsp; Miss Moore is no stranger to us at Prep Dig as we have covered her awesome volleyball career for the past few years.&nbsp; We loved seeing her in our shirt and dominating on the courts for this Expo.&nbsp; She was easily one of the most skilled athletes on the positional courts and during the scrimmage series as well.&nbsp; Her ability to rise up off of the ground so easily is a testament to her natural athleticism.&nbsp; What I truly loved about her play during the Expo, is that nothing seemed to bother her while she was doing what she loves.&nbsp; For an athlete to never get rattled is a great gift for any coach.&nbsp; Everything about her play can be labeled as a “Game Changer” and this is why she is ranked as the best right side in her grad class.&nbsp; Any program would love to have her and if you do not know who she is, I strongly encourage you to give her a look or two this club season.&nbsp; After dominating on the courts during our Expo, she is ready to take this club season by storm.&nbsp; Please help us congratulate her on winning this awesome award.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='254145' first='Elizabeth' last='Adamek']&nbsp;[2025] 5-9 Libero/Outside (HS: Magnolia/Club: TAV Hosuton/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Elizabeth is currently an unranked prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but is definitely on our radar after what she showed at the Expo.&nbsp; She plays at Magnolia High School and plays club for [program_tooltip program_id='431308' first='Texas' last='Advantage'] Volleyball Houston club. &nbsp;Throughout the Expo, I was looking for players who were hard-nosed and were extremely focused on their job and I found that the moment I watch Miss Adamek play.&nbsp; What caught my eye at first were her booming serves to her opponent.&nbsp; She rattled off a few rockets and I stopped to watch more from her.&nbsp; After calling her off the court to take a picture for one of our Top Performer awards, she was eager to get playing time back and went in immediately to keep putting in work.&nbsp; It was this desire to be on the court and showcase her skills that showed me just how hard she is working to accomplish her goals of playing at the next level.&nbsp; Her defensive skills and passing serve were at an elite level on the top courts and this is why she has won some awards from us.&nbsp; Her attitude of wanting to play against the best and putting it into action were why she has earned the “Game Changer” award for this Expo.&nbsp; Please congratulate her on the honor.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='344328' first='Mckenzie' last='Bernard'] [2025] 6-1 Middle (HS: Georgetown/Club: Texas Fury Volleyball/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:image {"align":"right","id":455294,"width":"130px","height":"auto","sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"none"} --> <figure class="wp-block-image alignright size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prepdig.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2023/09/912-McKenzie-Bernard.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-455294" style="width:130px;height:auto" /></figure> <!-- /wp:image --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Mckenzie is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but is now on the official watch list with her performance at the Expo.&nbsp; She plays at Georgetown High School and also club for the Texas Fury program.&nbsp; I am not sure that there was a more physical middle blocker at the Expo and she let her presence be felt in every rep she took at the net.&nbsp; I watched her be a wall while blocking during the scrimmage portion and it was a sight to see.&nbsp; Her lateral movement was super fast as she patrolled the net to shut down the opposing side.&nbsp; The way she pressed over the net was the most impressive aspect of watching her block.&nbsp; She made it so tough for would-be point scorers to have enough space to operate at the net and this is why she has won the “Game Changer” award for this Expo.&nbsp; I highly recommend you watch her this club season if you want a middle who is dominant at the net both offensively and defensively.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>And as always….Stay tuned for more articles on your favorite athletes.
