I've used this holiday season to solidify the recruiting paths of those that we already know are going to make waves this club season. But what about the statistical champs aren't well known in club circles? Here are nine of the best blockers from this past high school season I haven't mentioned before that need more attention.

Class of '25

One of the top blockers in the state uses her basketball prowess to dominate at the net for her squad. [player_tooltip player_id='398586' first='Randee' last='Garringer'] ('25, 6-1 MB, Mooresville) is on a great travel basketball team in the summer, and is at a high school that prides themselves on their girls basketball program. Randee's long arms and athletic stride allow her to defend from pin to pin with ease. [player_tooltip player_id='742961' first='Olivia' last='Klein'] ('25, 5-11 MB, Hagerstown) has a similar path, but doesn't look like she's 5-11 because of her athletic approach to volleyball and her long arms and legs. She can block pretty much everything, and anticipates well. [player_tooltip player_id='494415' first='Emma' last='Watson'] ('25, 6-0 MB, Castle, Metro) has been a part of the top 4A squad in Southern Indiana for some time now, and her attacking is definitely catching up with her blocking abilities. Further club training this spring should complete the package that she can bring to the next level.

Class of '26

Each of these kids come from volleyball programs (high school AND club) that we don't talk about enough in these articles, but surely deserve more attention. [player_tooltip player_id='254826' first='Makenzie' last='Creviston'] ('26, 5-10 MB, Greencastle, COA) plays bigger than her frame and anticipates well to be a springy M2 for a lucky program willing to sign her. [player_tooltip player_id='494418' first='Libby' last='Ryan'] ('26, 6-1 MB, Evansville North, Evansville United) has M1 written all over her, and her upper-level athleticism in the sport will carry her far. This spring should be an excellent springboard for her recruiting goals. [player_tooltip player_id='234797' first='Evelyn' last='Kipp'] ('26, 6-1 MB, South Bend Washington, Dunes) has attended our showcases in the past, being one of the "tallest" 6-1 kids out there. She's long and lean, plays fast, and makes some blocks look small because of her high attack touch and ability to defend from pin to pin.

Class of '27

Another middle from Mooresville, [player_tooltip player_id='481214' first='Marley' last='Vanwanzeele'] ('27, 6-3 MB, Mooresville, Circle City) is the biggest kid on Circle's 15 Purple (15-1) squad. I don't remember the last time a Mooresville kid made a 1s team anywhere, let alone at Circle. Her size, coupled with her volleyball IQ, should be making waves this club season. [player_tooltip player_id='494422' first='Taylor' last='Somers'] ('27, 5-10 MB, South Decatur) is a two-sport stud that, again, plays bigger than her frame. She uses her basketball skills to dominate in the front row on defense. [player_tooltip player_id='494420' first='Kenley' last='Mitchell'] ('27, 6-0 MB, Heritage Christian, Academy) is probably the most athletic of the nine listed here, and she has all of the offensive and defensive tools that one requires to dominate at this level.

I've used this holiday season to solidify the recruiting paths of those that we already know are going to make waves this club season. But what about the statistical champs aren't well known in club circles? Here are nine of the best blockers from this past high school season I haven't mentioned before that need more attention.
