Spending the great majority of her season as a primary passing defender, Miss Yadon has come on as of late to be the top offensive option for the Bison since the calendar turned to October. Her most recent performance, an 18 kill, 13 dig performance against then-#1 Southwood, defined who the UIndy (top 25 D2) recruit actually is—-an all-around beast of an athlete that can do anything on the volleyball court, from pass to attack to defend and everything in between.

When McKenna stepped back into her six-rotation outside hitting role, Kendall was the recipient of the libero jersey for the Bison. Already fully familiar with the role at Boiler Juniors, Miss Segal is a calm and cool libero with active feet and a solid, consistent platform and always finds a nose for the ball, wherever it's sent. Benton Central is in good hands at the libero position for all of Kendall's four years, and is only going to get better from here.

A defensive-minded setter, Madison is exceptional at not only set location but also making sure that the next person getting the ball after her can do something positive with it. Her senior leadership shines through when playing, and her sneaky quick athleticism will be key if the Bison struggle in passing.

The hammer the Eagles will rely upon on Saturday is named Ella. When approaching and swinging, she seems to put her entire heart and soul into each and every attack, and the heft with which she attacks sneaks up on defenders, making it that much harder to dig her attacks. I like the high-and-hard approach she has to hitting, as it has served her well enough to earn a commitment from D2 powerhouse Ferris State.

We got a chance to see Addie in action over the summer, where we predicted that she would have an impact at HC early on in her career. That, dear readers, was a MASSIVE understatement. Wearing the libero jersey, Addie is clearly the defensive stalwart the Eagles needed this fall, and is a massive reason for Heritage Christian making it to the 2A final. Consistent and reliable, Miss Mayer is the definition of libero, as she's always there to better the ball for whomever gets the next touch.

Strong hands, a solid foundation and consistent tempo has Miss Ring among the best to ever set at Heritage Christian. With over 2400 assists in her career, her set placement and finding the right person in the right situation has served Miss Ring well over the years. Seeing time since she was a freshman, Bethany will be a nice grounding presence on the court at Gainbridge on Saturday.
