The Iowa State commitment plays a vital role for a Six Pack squad that thrives in system with heavy hitters. Grant shows excellent reflexes and reaction time as a quick-twitch athlete. Maybe there’s something in the Dakota name with Mitchell and Hendricks both being among the standouts in the back row at this event. Like Dakota Mitchell Dakota Mitchell 5’3″ | DS/L Mid Prairie | 2025 State IA , Dakota Hendricks Dakota Hendricks OH Nevada | 2025 State IA shows a solid feel for the game. She reads the other team’s plan quickly and gets herself positioned to do her job. Once in said position, she delivers consistently.
Morales hales from an accomplished volleyball family and it shows. She’s technically sound and in charge on the court. She displays quick reflexes and gets to to her spots on time without having to reach. Morales utilizes a good read on the attack more often than not, which also helps her carry out her assignment.
The Ballard junior stood out in my first in-person scouting opportunity. She works really well with Findley McAndrew, the setter for PowerPlex Zoss. Askelsen is a sound all-around libero with sharp actions and impressive athleticism. She moves very well laterally and uses quickness in her success. Askelsen is a student-athlete who should be getting attention from colleges.
