Another four-year contributor, Dircksen has been the primary floor leader for the Senecas the past three seasons. The 5’8 senior has now dished over 2,100 assists with consistency in her effort since her sophomore season at nearly 10 assists per set for an offense that has featured balance and depth from different positions. She benefits from steady passing and defense to get them into system often, but she does a good job a locating and creating variety in in their offense. Dircksen is committed to Tiffin.

The senior setter is back for her final campaign in leading Calvert’s offense, one that went unbeaten in 2025. She entered the 2026 season with over 2,000 career assists. With 28 assists in their recent 3-0 win over Carey. The Senecas have not dropped a set yet this season as Dircksen has dished a total of 88 assists for a 9.8 a/s average thus far. In that win, senior Bella Borgio Bella Borgio 6'0" | OH Calvert | 2027 State OH led a balanced offense with nine kills as junior Gracie Miller Gracie Miller 5'8" | DS/L/OH Calvert | 2028 State OH contributed team bests of 10 digs and fiver service aces.

Bryn Dircksen plays with confidence, and her hitters feed off of it. She gets to the ball well, hits it consistently, and isn’t afraid to trust every attacker on the court. The offense often looked rushed with her watching over the summer, but she remained composed from first down to last. At 5’8, Dircksen can run a good offense as she continued to build a strong prep resume through her floor leadership for Calvert during the high school cycle, and for Mintonette ‘s top 17U team, which recently finished 3-0 in opening day pool play at Summerfest to advance to the gold bracket in the 17 Open division. At Calvert, Dircksen has distributed 2,032 assists over three seasons, as her team has a combined record of 84-3 over that span, including winning the 2025 DVII state title with two runner-up finishes the previous two seasons.

This Mintonette m.72 squad is a tough out for opponents as they have some high quality skills throughout their rotation. Dircksen is a setter with great competitive experience, which leads to a lot of confidence and good composure in how she guides their offense when it is her opportunity to run the show. Whether pin to pin or finding the heavy arms in the middle, Dircksen can help make her hitters look good. The 17 USA division is where she will compete.

Dircksen assumed a big role during her sophomore season as the primary setter for a Calvert program that has big tradition and high competitive standards. She dished 860 total assists for a 9.5 a/s average, increasing her career total to 1,174 with two seasons ahead of her. She plays for Mintonette during the club season, a great place to keep developing her setting mechanics, consistency, and decision-making. Simple in her movement to pursue the ball, she makes good adjustments while maintaining her soft touch when on the move.

Dircksen did a wonderful job getting a number of hitters involved. She reads the court well putting her hitters in good positions to put balls down. Dirksen showed great poise and timing on the court setting her feet to make crisp sets. She can do a number of them from crease shots to the traditional go routes. Dircksen had 34 assists and seven digs in the Seneca win. Dircksen said the communication of where to put balls was great in the game.
