Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I’m a very high energy player. I always push through even during tough sets when I begin to get exhausted. I’m often told that I’m the loudest on the court and I’m an inspiration to others because of my extreme high energy. I celebrate after every single point and keep the energy at an all time high when others can’t.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I’m a very “you have the next one” kind of player. It’s been tough to get to that point but I’m proud of it now simply because I can always improve the next time. Again as mentioned before, I’m a very high energy and I’m known for my really loud celebrations. I always want to maintain the high energy even when we’re down because high energy wins games!
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I’ve recieved the Student Achievement Award for English back in my Freshman year. In addition, I've also been on the Honor Roll my Freshman and Sophomore year. I am involved with Link Crew as of my Senior year!
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I’ve really developed my teamwork skills over the years I’ve been in sports because I realized at a young age that it is a very important fundamental for teams if you want to be successful. Teammates have to have good chemistry and I want to be a teammate that people enjoy playing with. I always think of others and work with them through their good and bad days. I strive to be a good teammate.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
During my 2023-2024, I sprained my ankle during my tournament in Orlando, Florida. I was playing my all time high and my teammates told me that the Florida tournament was when I played my best. It was mentally challenging because I thought I wouldn't play like that again. It felt like I had to start over. However I soon realized it was all temporary and that I would get my spark back! And, I did!
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m looking for a college that is close to home (Southern California), however I am willing to go out of state. I’m looking for a college that will value me as a player and as a person. To add, I’m also looking for colleges with good sports management programs or anything that relates.
