Groomes is the best all-around prospect in this class and has her AVC team competing very well right now. Her versatility and athleticism make her extremely impactful as she contributes in so many ways. What is so exciting about her game is her competitiveness and ability to lift her team. This group opened the season 5th at the Nike Classic among top 18U and 17U teams following that up with a mirrored finish as the top Ohio team at both the Central Zone Invitational and MEQ. Check them out next at the Windy City qualifier. She is headed to San Diego.

Thompson is one of the most physical pins in all of Ohio regardless of class. At 6’0 and touching 10’4, she can dominate matches with her athleticism, contact point, and big pace at the top of her approach pattern. She and her HOVA team are competing well given her presence but through some other younger talent that helps balance what she can do at the net. One of the most prolific point scorers during the high school season, she is showing off her impact well this club season including her ability to bounce balls with the best of them when she finds space around or threw the block at the net. She is committed to Ohio University.

The Pittsburgh commit continues to grow her game even more, which is scary given her length and ability to get well above the net. At 6’3, she does a great job of giving herself a a big approach runway that allows her momentum build and full use of her athleticism in the air that when she has space she is hitting over or around most blockers. With titles at the North East Cup and in Cedar Point, Emch and her team recently placed 5th of 111 teams at MEQ in the 17 USA division earning a bid to the GJNC with a 7-2 overall record.

Codling is so good at what she does in the back row for her TSE 17 Blue team. Just pay attention to her angle production as she has great ability to develop good opportunities her their offense just by the position of her platform when on balance or in pursuit of the ball on the move. She is a competitor as well and brings a lot of energy and encouragement to her attackers to get up and rip the ball. Following a 5th place finish at the Central Zone Invitational, they finished top-20 at Triple Crown and brought home a 3rd place result at Bluegrass with an overall 8-1 record. Codling is headed to tradition-rich UCLA.

Another high volume point scorer on the pins, Campagna will be playing her college ball in the SEC for Mississippi State. She can score with power and range and maximizes her 5’10 frame well by her athleticism and physicality in the air. Her big lift and arm are a huge threat for her Elite VBTC team that is finding good success this club season. Following a 3rd place finish at the Rock N Rumble event, they finished top-10 at Bluegrass and then 26th overall in 17 Open at MEQ. They will next compete in another bid opportunity at Big South in Atlanta.
