JVA World Challenge Solid Defensive Specialists

Casey did a good job moving her feet on defense trying to anticipate where balls were headed, then trying to make solid passes. Casey possesses good spin on her jump serves and cheering on teammates after each point. Casey said she wants to improve at talking on the court, reading hitters and moving feet on serves. Pehlke does a great job positioning herself to where she does not hide behind blocks. Dawson goes hard after balls and moves her feet well trying to make solid passes. She hopes to improve her serve receive to play at a high level. Dawson finished second for the Crimsons with 184 digs and third with 46 aces leading Manual to a 25th District championship and 7th Region semifinal appearance. Osborne does a great job moving her feet trying to square her arms up to balls for solid digs and consistently hustles after balls. Osborne also has a nice jump serve. She's using club season to improve her serve receiving and out of system setting.
