Tonight at 6:30pm at Center Grove High School is the last chance you'll see any Division I volleyball prior to next fall. Luckily, both of these programs have played a ton of spring ball locally, and have started the trend of playing in local high schools. In today's article, here are some high school grads from the Hoosier State that you should expect to see play.

Purdue

With seven spring roster athletes hailing from Indiana (and six seeing regular playing time this spring), there's a lot to unpack. Primary-passing outsides Chloe Chicoine (So., 5-10 OH, McCutcheon) and Eva Hudson (Jr., 6-1 OH, Bishop Denver) will anchor the team tonight (and next fall) on the left pin. Chloe's experience with the U19 team (putting the bronze-medal-winning point away at World's) last year has her primed for continued growth and strength in a deep outside hitting depth chart. Eva was the Big Ten Freshman of the Year a couple of years ago, and shows her size and physicality regularly from all parts of the court. Raven Colvin (Sr., 6-1 MB, Heritage Christian) has been a regular in the middle since her arrival in West Lafayette, and is an absolute force in the middle, both offensively and defensively. Ali Hornung (Sr., 5-10 DS/L, Providence) has been wearing the libero jersey for the majority of the spring, and looks to earn it full-time once the fall comes around. Miss Hornung is yet another home-grown kid that has made an immediate impact upon arrival, and has built that impact into a lasting and exceptional career. Others that should see a good amount of court time are Rachel Williams (r-Fr., 5-7 DS, West Lafayette) and Emily Rastovski (r-Jr., 6-2 OH, Morgan Township). Rachel has seen some defensive and serve receive reps regularly this spring, showing her foot quickness and high-level anticipation. Emily, fighting off the injury bug during her career, is a big and physical outside that should be seeing some three-rotation reps as her career continues. Finally, early-enrollee [player_tooltip player_id='110523' first='Allie' last='Shondell'] (Fr., 5-10 S, McCutcheon) is just another local kid setting for her uncle and has had a ton of time acclimating herself to the collegiate game this spring.

Indiana

Barely missing out on the NCAA tournament last fall, this roster is primed to make a run into the field of 64 this coming December. With what's returning, there's a distinct possibility of the Hoosiers doing exactly that. Three seniors and two sophomores dot this roster from the Hoosier State, with Hamilton County in particular well-represented. Camryn Haworth (Sr., 5-10 S, Fishers) bombs away from the baseline and the net, while also running her squad's offense well enough to earn All-Big-Ten honors in multiple years. Ava Vickers (So., 6-0 MB, Fishers) is another Tiger that has athleticism and quickness not normally seen from middles hailing from Indiana. She's exceptional in the M1 position, and uses her springy nature to beat slower blocks regularly. Kenzie Daffinee (Sr., 6-0 OH, Westfield) has largely been used as a serving sub for her career, and is sure to see a little time on the left pin from time to time. A physical swinger with strength, Kenzie should give the Boilermakers fits in serve receive tonight. Carly Mills (Sr., 5-7 DS, Hamilton Southeastern) is a three-rotation defender that can anticipate with the best of them and receives serve reliably in the ever-tough Big Ten. Finally, Ramsey Gary (So., 5-7 Libero, Pendleton Heights) has earned the libero jersey from day one in Bloomington, which has transferred her to being named to the U21 squad representing the USA this coming summer. She also led the Big Ten in digs last fall and got herself Second Team All-Big-Ten honors in the process.
