Allison Charvat continues to make a strong impression every time she steps on the court. A middle with serious power and purpose, Charvat plays with confidence and clarity, she doesn’t hesitate; she knows exactly what she wants and how to execute it. Her footwork is clean and efficient, allowing her to get up quickly and connect with pace, and her arm swing finishes with an aggressive snap that puts defenders on their heels.

In one standout moment at the Salt Lake City Showdown, Coach Nueve asked setter Michelle Xu Michelle Xu 5'7" | S Pasadena Poly | 2028 CA to go to Charvat in a key play. Xu delivered a perfectly placed ball, and Charvat demolished it, one of the cleanest kills of the match. That exchange encapsulates what makes Charvat special: she demands the ball, thrives in pressure, and finishes with authority. Allie is a 6’2” middle blocker who has made the varsity team at Mayfield, where she will be set by one of California’s top setters, Piper Chylinski Piper Chylinski 6'3" | S Mayfield | 2027 State #14 Nation CA . Allie started playing volleyball when she was 12 years old, transitioning from soccer because she wanted a closer team feel. She has consistently played middle but hopes to transition to the outside to be more consistently involved in the offense. Allie is quick on the court, especially with her transitions, and I didn’t see her out of play at the net once during the showcase. At 6’2”, she is coordinated and can pass and serve well.
