Soraya Benton Soraya Benton MH WI is quite the athlete for FC Elite 16 Elite.  She has plenty of physicality at the net where she can play on the right side and has seen some time in the middle.  Its been a busy 2026 for Benton where she was part of the Oostburg girls basketball team who finished an undefeated state championship season.  The ceiling for Benton is exciting, she hits a heavy ball which makes it so tough for the other side to defend.  FC Elite 16 Elite has shown a lot of improvement over the course of the season and will be fun to see in 16 Open this weekend. 

Oostburg is going to be quite the program to watch this season with plenty of returners and the addition of Soraya Benton Soraya Benton MH WI .  Benton had a big year at Howards Grove as a freshman and will be suiting up for Oostburg this season.  She is an all around athlete who can score points in bunches from either pin.  She had 225 kills as a freshman hitting over .200 for the season.  Her swing is violent, she hits a heavy ball which makes it tough for the other side to block and defend cleanly, as her all around game expands her numbers and wins for her side will continue to climb as well. 

Soraya took the court by storm today. She never backed down and was an absolute force to be reckoned with. From her perfectly placed deep corner tip to her powerhouse hard cross shot to her massive block, Soraya did it all. Her plays energized her team, and she made smart decisions. Her volleyball IQ and court awareness were in tune today, and she used all of the tools in her deep toolbox to manufacture points for her team.

Soraya is a scrappy and springy pin hitter who knows how to get the job done. Her in-game adjustments and ability to terminate on key plays is just impressive. She puts up an absolutely massive block and is a wall of a first line of defense for her team. Soraya does the little things right, from her form to her competitiveness and everything in between. She is a high-level athlete in this class and one who could turn a lot of heads.

Soraya Benton Soraya Benton 6'0" | RS/OH Oostburg | 2028 State WI of FC Elite 15 Navy is nothing but good vibes on the court.  She plays with a smile and some swag, but don’t let that fool you when it comes to her swing.  She packs a mean punch when it comes to hand contact.  The explosiveness speaks for itself when she can score points on the right side or the outside in serve receive.  She is a dynamic attacker for FC Elite and is one they look to in order to put points on the board.  FC Elite 15 Navy is back in action this weekend at the Windy City Qualifier. 

Soraya is a middle blocker for Howards Grove, who has made an immediate impact on the program. She has 187 kills and is very efficient. Soraya is very offensively strong but has contributed a number of blocks as well.
