National bids are ONLY earned by winning your particular USA region, and the Hoosier region was tougher than usual this spring. Here are the victors, showcasing a ton of talent and potential after a nice pre-nationals run at the Prep Dig Gauntlet.

The top 16s team at Circle has so much talent and potential, it was difficult for me to break it down to five key players. We'll start with the first contact, [player_tooltip player_id='247782' first='Mia' last='Walpole'] ('26, 5-4 DS/L, Hamilton Southeastern). Fully capable of receiving serve by herself on half the court, she comes from a highly successful high school program that hasn't lost in years. Reliable and consistent, Mia is "that girl" that can wear the special jersey for any team at any time. Setting this crew is [player_tooltip player_id='252404' first='Addie' last='Haberthy'] ('26, 5-11 S, Roncalli), a long and lean athlete who can go get overpasses better than most in this class. Consistent with her hands and set placement, Addie can run a collegiate 5-1 right now for a lot of teams that need a big setter. A main outside for me is [player_tooltip player_id='221478' first='Josie' last='Imes'] ('26, 5-10 OH, Zionsville), who really showed out at the Prep Dig Gauntlet in Wisconsin two weekends ago. With a high attack point, smart shots and an ability to receive serve and transition well, Josie is a six-rotation kid that is relentless in her play. [player_tooltip player_id='489479' first='Mariana' last='Van Der Aa'] ('26, 5-11 Pin, Bloomfield) is a nice addition to this squad, after spending her freshman season at volleyball power Benton Central. Her long arms make her look taller than her 5-11 frame shows, as she can attack over blocks well. I listed her as a "pin" because of her ability to attack from both sides with equal success. Finally, and probably the most athletic on this squad, [player_tooltip player_id='514782' first='London' last='Smith'] ('26, 5-9 MB, Brownsburg) is a human spring and makes the big, lumbering blocks look slow. She can beat bigs with her athleticism, and uses her speed to transition faster than blocks can handle her. She's probably a small-school middle at the next level, but with that level of physicality (attack touch is north of 10 feet!), put her anywhere in the front row and she'll find ways to score points.
