About Teagan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is balanced and adaptive,I like to read the situation, make smart decisions, and adjust my approach as the game goes on. I stay calm under pressure, focus on strategy over chaos, and look for opportunities to outplay opponents with timing and awareness.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’d describe my mentality as focused, steady, and growth-oriented. I like to stay composed in challenging situations and I aim to choose strategy over impulse. I’m competitive, but in a way that pushes me to improve rather than stress me out. I value consistency, adaptability, and learning from each experience, and I try to approach everything with a level-headed, positive attitude.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am actively involved in several organizations and maintain strong academic performance. I participate in FBLA, which allows me to develop leadership and business skills, and I am a member of my youth group, where I engage in community service and group activities. Academically, I have earned a 4.0 GPA, reflecting my dedication, focus, and commitment to excellence.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed a strong set of skills and qualities through both academics and extracurricular activities. My involvement in FBLA has strengthened my leadership and communication abilities, allowing me to work with others to organize projects and solve problems effectively. Being part of my youth group has taught me the importance of teamwork and how to manage and keep connections.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Last season, I faced the challenge of feeling left out of the team culture, which made it difficult to fully connect and contribute. At first, it was frustrating and discouraging, but I used the experience to focus on personal growth, staying committed to practice, improving my skills, and maintaining a positive attitude. It taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of perseverance.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that balances strong academics with opportunities to continue playing volleyball at a competitive level. Ideally, it would have a supportive community, resources for personal and professional growth, and a challenging yet collaborative environment. I’m drawn to schools that encourage involvement both inside and outside the classroom, where I can pursue my academics.
