The Watch List profiles are winding down, as we have hit our final couple sets of players.

We have 20 players ranked in the Class of 2027, but the Watch List is full of players that could go on to reach the next level.

Here's a look at a handful of WL players and what they are bringing to the court.

Players listed alphabetically

[player_tooltip player_id='442983' first='Hayden' last='Sherman'], DS/L Valley Lutheran/L2

Sherman is a prospect that leaves everything she has on the court. She's small in stature, but big in heart. She covers a lot of space with her quickness and being able to stay low to the ground allows her to dig up some powerful shots. She does a good job of moving on from a bad rep and she brings great energy to the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='442972' first='Brier' last='Skelton'], S Brighton/Michigan Elite

Skelton has a lot of good experience at the position and it has shown in her growth as a player. She is able to make good in-match adjustments and play at a fast pace. Her defensive play is a strength as well. She's got a good feel for where to be and how to quickly transition from being a defender to leading her offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='454362' first='Karlie' last='Smith'], S Saline/L2

Smith is versatile player that can excel as a defender as well as a setter. She's very spry on the floor and makes a lot of good last-second adjustments. Her sets are smooth and she does a nice job of mixing up the speeds and angles to lead to some impressive swings from her hitters. Smith makes sure she is able to make a difference no matter where she is on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='490369' first='Rylee' last='Stanley-Eldred'] DS/L East Grand Rapids/FaR Out

Stanley-Eldred is a scrappy player in the back row that stays light on her feet. She's agile and able to make some tough plays through her sprawls and dives. Where she can add to her game is staying a little more low to the ground. It should allow her to be more accurate with her feeds and more consistent overall. The work ethic is already there, so her improvements should come quickly. She's played up in age level during club season, so that experience is key as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='490370' first='Mackenzee' last='Stanley-Eldred'], DS/L East Grand Rapids/FaR Out

Like Rylee, Mackenzee also plays up an age level during club season, so that is valuable experience that should lead to a lot of growth in her play. She's also quite agile and does a nice job of getting a clean pass to her setters even when she is slightly out of position. Both Rylee and Mackenzee doe a good job of learning from reps as well, and making adjustments to hitters to get in better position as the match moves on.

[player_tooltip player_id='442967' first='Addison' last='Stepp'], DS/L South Lyon East/Legacy

Stepp has established herself as one of the best defenders in this class. Not just in the state, but nationally as well. She spent club season facing the best at the 15U age level and propelling Legacy to an AAU national title. Stepp does a great job of maintaining composure while also covering a lot of space and staying in ready position. You aren't going to see her caught off guard very often. Her serve is also improving a lot and becoming a strength.

[player_tooltip player_id='442969' first='Avery' last='Stepp'], S South Lyon East/Legacy

Like her sister, [player_tooltip player_id='442969' first='Avery' last='Stepp'] always looks engaged and locked in on the floor. As a setter, she has a good feel for what pacing her offense needs. Stepp has had the luxury to work with some great hitters in prep and club season, but she deserves credit for bringing the best out of them as well. She's got great touch and placement. Not surprisingly, Avery also provides a lot of good defensive play.

[player_tooltip player_id='546049' first='Kate' last='Sulkowski'], MH South Lyon/Michigan Elite

Sulkowski has a high ceiling as a 6-foot middle that can generate a lot of power. She's been able to play anywhere along the net and finish at a solid rate. Sulkowski has the size, but she plays very long, which makes her a force defensively. On the attack, she's able to utilize a vertical swing that keeps her ahead of blockers and come down on the ball at a sharp angle.
