Here’s another well-rounded athlete who blurs the lines between positional designations. Webb has some prep experience as a setter, but her attacking prowess has taken precedence in her upperclassman tenure with Liberty North. The Eagles are getting three kills per set out of Webb, and she has proven her willingness to score from anywhere. Most converted setters do their damage on the right side, but don’t be surprised to see Webb getting it done from the other pin, too.

As promised, we’re sticking with the Liberty North Eagles. Webb will compete for her shot on the big stage and has already stood out with Dynasty on the club side. She likely felt right at home in the Dynasty gym during Saturday’s showcase, and that comfort was reflected in Webb’s play. Middle blockers had a field day with Webb dishing the ball with proper tempo and location. Liberty North has a fascinating setter competition on the horizon.
