There was a talented group of 2026 prospects that took part in the 2024 Michigan Stock Up Showcase on Sunday in Pontiac.

We will be sure to get to them all throughout the week.

Let's continue with the next collection of players in Part 2.

Aubrey OConnor, DS/L L'Anse Creuse North/Crank It

Aubrey OConnor

OConnor had a very powerful serve which was quick to grab your attention. She puts good velocity behind it and is able to attack some challenging angles with it. As a defender, she stays engaged and squared up to the ball, which allows her to make some nice sprawls to dig up a hard-hit ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='535359' first='Delaney' last='Fillman'], DS/OH Salem/Michigan Elite

Fillman was an effort player that was committed to outworking everyone she was up against. The defender also has a sneaky offensive skillset that she was able to display. Her attacks are consistent and competitive. She's got the potential to develop that further if she gets opportunities at the net. As a defender, she did a good job of honing herself into the right spots and making clean passes. She was also very vocal and supportive of her peers.

[player_tooltip player_id='226936' first='Lexie' last='Stotenbur'], S FH Northern/FaR Out

Stotenbur was a setter at the showcase that already has a lot of big-match experience and she's worked with some of the best hitters in the state. That allowed her to come to the court with a lot of composure and poise. She always looked in complete control when she was going through drills or working with hitters. She brought out some of the best swings for the showcase on a consistent basis.

[player_tooltip player_id='490026' first='Allison' last='Rutledge'], S/RS Lapeer/Five:1

[player_tooltip player_id='490026' first='Allison' last='Rutledge']

As a 6-foot setter, Rutledge was able to push a good pace and make quick connections with her hitters, especially the middles she worked with. She's also agile enough to be a consistent finisher on the right side. She sees the play well and has a good sense of timing for all phases of her game. Rutledge has a high ceiling.

[player_tooltip player_id='448466' first='Evelyn' last='Watts'], OH/DS Berkley/Michigan Elite

Watts has a great work ethic and it showed during the showcase. She was always putting her best foot forward and doing whatever she could to make a play. Watts also showcased the ability to shake off a bad rep and bouncing back quickly. She has a nice range of shots that she can play and her defensive ability is at a high level. Her skills should allow her to find the next gear more consistently this prep season.

[player_tooltip player_id='261322' first='Ava' last='Starr'], S/RS Lake Catholic/Academy Volleyball

An Ohio product, Starr is another setter with some size and length at the net that can cause problems for opponents. She's been able to get some reps on the right side as well, showcasing her athleticism. At either spot, Starr can play above the net and make life difficult on blockers. Her accuracy improved throughout the showcase and is only going to get better with each year.

[player_tooltip player_id='490029' first='Amina' last='Baszile'], DS/OH Renaissance/Michigan Elite

Baszile covered a lot of ground defensively. She's got quick feet and moves smoothly around the floor. While she's listed a DS for her top position, Baszile shows a lot of promise as a hitter as well. She's got a lot of explosion off the floor and has arm speed that competes with a lot of the top hitters. One of her strengths is also her aggressiveness and drive. She knows when she needs to dial up the intensity.
