Nebraska 2026 Rankings Update: New Additions (Part 1)

Welcome to the club.   We've covered plenty of stock risers in the wake of our Nebraska 2026 rankings update, but what about the new additions? The club season gave us plenty of opportunities to expand our player database, so our 2026 radar has expanded.   Here's Part 1 of our introduction to the new names in our database.    Ehrenberg's rankings debut was overdue. This Millard North athlete played up an age group with Premier Nebraska 17 Red and was a persistent force at the opposite position. She carved sharp angles on the right pin and produced numerous block touches for the 17 Red backcourt. Ehrenberg is building off a GJNC appearance and will help usher in a new era at Millard North this fall.     Walz was the do-everything frontcourt athlete for Banzai VBC 16 Select. That versatility showed up throughout the club season, particularly during the Great Plains Region Bid Tournament. Walz can play middle blocker or opposite while bringing a terminal arm at both positions. She notched more highlight moments at our Stock Up Showcase, cementing Walz's spot in the rankings.     Lewis's emergence helps demonstrate [program_tooltip program_id='428728' first='River' last='City Jrs']'s incredible 2026 depth. Lewis scored at will during AAU Nationals and accomplished this in various ways. She can slug through the seam or chisel off hands down the line. This rangy outside hitter lets her power take over at the net, and her infectious energy shows up in any venue. Lewis is not done climbing our rankings.     Kroos is one of several 2026s who joined our watch list after competing with NVA this spring. This dynamic outside hitter hails from Kenesaw High School, where she racked up nearly three kills per set as a sophomore. That sets the stage for some spectacular output this fall as Kroos hopes to put Kenesaw in the small-town conversation.     Millard North is back on the board, but this latest entry stood out at [program_tooltip program_id='428728' first='River' last='City Jrs']. Blair is a libero who doesn't mind fast-paced play and long, grueling rallies. Her steady platform kept 16 Red in several lengthy battles during AAU Nationals. That stability makes Blair a candidate to contribute with Millard North as the Mustangs embark on a tough Class A slate.     Club Legacy gets in the mix. We've perused the Club Legacy 16 Bravo lineup for new additions, and Kehm is one who immediately stood out. Her length and physicality were important elements to 16 Bravo's success at the net. This translated to straight-down kills and impressive stuff blocks, both of which will boost Kehm's stock later in her career.     The [program_tooltip program_id='428717' first='Nebraska' last='ONE'] still has new names on our list. Burton got her shot on the varsity stage with Milford last fall and kept the momentum going in the club season. She showed her range with 16 Grey and has experience at middle blocker and outside hitter. Burton is due for an extended stay in the varsity lineup and could see a big jump in production this fall.     Jasper joins Burton from the [program_tooltip program_id='428717' first='Nebraska' last='ONE'] 16 Grey camp. This emerging right-side hitter has a quick arm swing that generates power no matter which angle she's going for. She was also one of the team's strongest blockers--a valuable asset against Nebraska's powerful, athletic left sides.     Morris ascended the age ladder and played with [program_tooltip program_id='428728' first='River' last='City Jrs'] 17 Red. Her move was well worth it as Morris racked up several electrifying kills for her squad. AAU Nationals revealed her willingness to run diverse route patterns, which included second-tempo balls right down the middle. Morris embodies the skill and adaptability needed to be a starting outside hitter in the [program_tooltip program_id='428728' first='River' last='City Jrs'] gym--even if she's competing against older athletes.     The Florell era will persist at Overton a little longer. We've had this latest Florell iteration on our radar for a while--though she has made her mark as an attacker instead of a setter. South Central NE has hauled in many of small-town Nebraska's best athletes, and Florell is a perfect example. Here's a 2026 attacker ready for her chance to shine with the defending Class D2 champs.     Let's get another NVA athlete on the board. Vance was a defensive contributor for NVA's 16 Navy squad and could play in any zone across the backcourt. She adds to our growing list of standout athletes from the Grand Island area, so keep an eye on the central Nebraska scene for more rising 2026s.     Sundquist joins the NVA crew and has already been a high-volume scorer at Holdrege High School. She tallied two kills per set last year and eclipsed triple-digit kills in each of her underclassman seasons with the Dusters. The high-flying hitter is primarily a left-side hitter but has shown flashes of brilliance in the middle, too. Sundquist is ready to set an even higher bar in Year 3.
