Katy-Cy Fair Tournament: Middles

Offensively, her size and power were often too much to opponents as Tinnell got to score at a good rate for her team and got the ball in important moments. She hit several different plays down the middle, was very effective at the slide and even got set on the left in one rotation, showing interesting skills to put the ball down there too. Playing with great energy and intensity, the middle displayed excellent mobility, getting to the pin in no time to block and consistently making herself available to her setter in transition plays. Osibodu was very aggressive with her actions, getting off the floor well and swinging with power on offense and making strong moves with her arms to get defensive stops. She was an important offensive weapon for the Lady Tigers, using her excellent footwork to be consistently available and making great decisions with her swings, putting the ball down at a good rate and avoiding errors. Her presence in the middle was extremely important for them, who benefited from her production on both sides of the ball to beat opponents. Reynolds was very solid offensively, using her high contact point to overcome blockers and score with tremendous efficiency. She was strong offensively, hitting different sets in the middle and being resourceful to score when not in ideal situations. Bivens also had an important defensive role with her blocking, getting stops and forcing opponents to hit around her.
