By The Numbers: Top Five Attackers In Indiana

Here are the top five attackers in the state of Indiana, ranked as such because of the number of kills they have thus far. Miss Lucas is a terminating outside that should never come out of the game because of her all-around prowess in all aspects, both offensively and defensively. She can attack anywhere along the front row, but is more known as a middle because of her long arms and blocking ability. Sitting squarely at 500 kills for her career, the 1000-kill club is a distinct possibility next fall. I like her length, as she can go over would-be blockers with her combination of jumping ability, athleticism and long arms. Her ability to do a little of everything was on display at last season's state finals, where she was forced into the setting role due to injury. Her relentless nature and constant high-level motor have driven her to nearly 1500 career kills, which she should pass by the end of next week.
