That included a 16-block performance in a five-set win over Glen Lake last week. That was a top-10 performance in MHSAA history when it comes to blocks in a single match.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='156288' first='Aubree' last='Calloway'], Bronson</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of Bronson's imposing players at the net, she is up to 118 blocks this season. She had an impressive 158 in 2023 and is now approaching 350 in her career. Last week, Calloway had 10 blocks in a five-set match with Parma Western.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='231189' first='Josie' last='Noble'], Caledonia</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Noble has been holding her own against top hitters in the state throughout the season. She's sitting at 100 blocks on the season and the Wisconsin-Milwaukee commit is approaching 300 in her career. Noble has had at least four blocks in four of his last six matches.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='156309' first='Lauren' last='Johnson'], South Lyon East</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Johnson is part of a tall lineup at SL East and she makes her presence known with her blocking. The Washington State commit is at 81 blocks on the season, approaching a new career high. Johnson is on a run of five straight matches with at least two blocks.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Adora Singo, Okemos</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Singo has been an important part of Okemos' production this season. When it comes to blocking, she's at 75 for the 2024 season. She's on a run of 23 blocks over her last six matches.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Briar Zeneberg, Mt. Pleasant</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Zeneberg has raised her play this year as a senior. She's nearly doubled her block total compared to last year, as she is at 75 on the season. She is coming off four blocks in a sweep of Powers Catholic and only been in a few games without a block.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='472798' first='Cassidy' last='Pratley'], Harper Creek</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Pratley is making a strong push for D2 Player of the Year. She's been dominant with her kills and is also among the block leaders in the senior class. Pratley has recorded 65 this season. She had a 7-block performance last week in a four-set win over Marshall and has recorded a block in six straight.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='533117' first='Morgan' last='Kuhl'], Hanover-Horton</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Kuhl was a steady blocker as a junior and now she is approaching a new career high in the category as a senior. She has 64 blocks in 2024 and recently had a 12-match streak with at least one block. During that run, she had at least three blocks in seven of those matches.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Jenna Derosia, Bay City Western</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Derosia is compiling up a lot of blocks as of late. On the season, she is at 63 blocks for the Warriors. She recently had a 10-match streak with at least one block. During that run she totaled 26 blocks.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Ashley Rolands, Berkley</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Bears have a steady blocking force in their senior middle. She has compiled 62 blocks on the season. She recently put up a block in seven straight matches.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
