Springer had an excellent 18 gold championship game for the Pink 18 team. Springer consistently mixed up her sets to put her teammates in position to put balls down. She does a great job handling off-target passes with poise. Her versatility showed up in other ways. She kept a number of plays alive diving after balls on defense and recorded some big blocks at key moments. Springer also showed she can take quick spikes from the pins. Springer said she’s only started swinging the last couple years after playing setter her entire career.
