17. [player_tooltip player_id='729704' first='Dorothy' last='Durrill'] - MB - MICDS

Durrill enters the rankings as the highest-ranked new addition after an all-state season in the middle for MICDS. She had a season to remember tallying 420 kills at a .507 clip. She showed she can affect the game defensively with just under 100 total digs. She has the potential at 6'3" to be a high prospect with a strong club season.

37. [player_tooltip player_id='629208' first='Reese' last='Finley'] - OH - Republic

Finley had a tremendous jump from year one to year two for Republic. She went from 82 kills as a freshman to 304 in her sophomore campaign. Her dig count was also over 200 on the season. Recently she had a strong showing at the Prep Dig Top 250 Showcase, contributing to her addition and rise in the rankings.

50. [player_tooltip player_id='732870' first='Megan' last='Copeland'] - MB - Ellington

The Ellington middle blocker saw her kill numbers more than double in a year. She finished with 315 kills and will continue to get better and improve in areas of her game like her hitting percentage. Copeland handled her own in the back row by contributing 287 digs, up 200 from the prior season.

57. [player_tooltip player_id='732876' first='Avery' last='Sperling'] - OH - Osage

Sperling made big leaps in the 2024 fall season for Osage. She saw her kills per set jump from 1.8 to 3.1 and her hitting percentage jumping 70 points. We expect those numbers to be even stronger next fall as she continues to work on adding more shots to her arsenal.

61. [player_tooltip player_id='732865' first='Peyton' last='Brandt'] - MB/OH - Monett

Do you want to talk about a big turnaround? Last year Brandt hit negative on the season at -.043. She had 170 errors in total in 558 attempts. In 2024, she finished the year at .185 and had 180 errors in 1000 attempts. Some important stat lines include over 350 kills and 250 digs.

62. [player_tooltip player_id='568866' first='Jaycee' last='Tyrrell'] - MB - Smithville

I saw Smithville live a couple of times this season and Tyrrell is a player who made a big impression this year. As a freshman, she only saw action in 17 sets. A year later she was an important piece in the middle for the Warriors. This fall she played in 88 sets and found the floor 203 times.

63. [player_tooltip player_id='720350' first='Kendyl' last='Edwards'] - S - East Buchanan

Another player I saw in action that caught my eye was Edwards. The skill set she exhibits is some of the best from all classes. Her decision-making and placement were elite. She will get offers to set at the net level at the division 2, NAIA levels. She dished out 1126 assists, good for 11 per set in 2024.

66. [player_tooltip player_id='732879' first='Claire' last='Sallee'] - MB - Osage

The second Osage player to leap into the rankings is Sallee. After a freshman year that only saw her play in 9 sets, she became an important player on the floor seeing action in 96 sets. She finished the year with 288 kills and close to a .500 kill percentage. Defensively she was a force with 92 total blocks.
