One of the best M2s in the class, Emery is a big and physical middle who is fast in transition and tough on defense. With the inaugural 16-1 squad at PHP, Emery has shown up and shown out at multiple major tournaments this spring, including Central Zones, Triple Crown and Bluegrass, dominating all comers. I like her quick footwork in transition as well as net defense, and her positive and fiery attitude when she puts a ball away. Hitting a heavy ball is one thing; a lot of kids “hit hard”. The real question is if you can do it on every swing, every time, without exception and score points? The answer for Emery is a resounding “yes”.
