Day 2 is when the stars come out to play, and this time was no different. The court was filled with players who made a real impact, not just because of their skills but because of how they stepped up when it mattered most. You had hitters crushing powerful spikes, setters running the offense like pros, and defenders digging everything that came their way. These players didn't just show up, they made the kind of plays that changed the game. A huge block, a perfect set, or a crazy diving save, they did it all. They were the ones who lifted their teams, caught everyone's attention, and proved why they're the best. Day 2 was all about heart, hustle, and those unforgettable moments that excite volleyball. These are our impact players for day 2:

[player_tooltip player_id='285744' first='Alia' last='DeBerry'] makes things happen on the court. She's got an excellent pipe attack from the back row, which makes her a scoring threat, no matter where she is. She's a smart hitter who knows how to mix up her hitter. Sometimes she'll power through the block, other times she'll use a well-placed tip or a sharp angle to catch the defense off guard. This keeps her opponents guessing and it makes her really tough to read.

What stands out about Alia is her confidence. She plays with a calm, composed presence, even in high-pressure moments, and it shows in her decision-making. Defensively, she's solid. She reads the other team well and anticipates where the ball is going. She's a well-rounded player who can impact the game in many ways. Whether she's attacking from the front row or the back, Alia is someone you can count on to come up big when her team needs it.

[player_tooltip player_id='288992' first='Ally' last='Thompson'] has a smooth and consistent set. She always puts the ball where her hitters can do something with it. Whether it's a quick set to the middle or a high ball to the outside, Ally has this way of making her hitters' jobs easier. She's really good at keeping her hot hitters involved. When someone's on fire, she knows how to keep feeding them and keep that energy going.

What stands out about Ally is how calm she is, even when the pressure's on. She also reads the court well, makes smart choices, and isn't afraid to switch things up to keep the other team off balance. Her connection with her hitters is strong, and you can tell she's got a great feel for the game. Ally isn't just a setter, she's a leader who knows how to run the offense and get the best out of her teammates. She's the kind of player who makes everyone around her better, and that's what makes her so valuable.

[player_tooltip player_id='286289' first='Rylie' last='Steward'] makes everything look easy. She's got great tempo and delivers consistent, accurate sets that let her hitters do their thing. She is a good server who can disrupt the other team's offense and make them play out of the system. As a setter, she's calm and composed, which helps keep her team organized even in high-pressure situations.

[player_tooltip player_id='740706' first='Anabel' last='Nelson'] brings a lot of consistency to her team. She's got a nice approach and a fast arm swing, which allows her to put some serious power behind her hits. What's impressive about Anabel is her ability to adjust to off-target sets and still deliver a strong attack. She's not just a one-dimensional hitter—she can mix it up when she needs to. If there's one area where she could improve, it's in adding more variety to her hitting. Tips, roll shots, or off-speed hits would make her even harder to defend. Defensively, she's solid, but working on her serve-receive consistency would make her a more complete player. Overall, Anabel is a dependable scorer who can be counted on to deliver in key moments.

[player_tooltip player_id='740998' first='Kelsey' last='Patton'] has a lot of potential. She has good height and the ability to be a strong blocker. She's still developing, but you can see the flashes of what she could become. Kelsey is a smart hitter who reads the game well, and she's got the tools to be a real force at the net. Right now, she needs to refine her blocking technique and become more consistent offensively. Confidence and court awareness are also areas where she can grow, but she's definitely on the right track. Kelsey is one of those players who could really break out with a little more experience and polish.

Heidi Torgerson has a quick arm swing and can really put the ball away when she's in rhythm. Her ability to run quick attacks makes her a reliable option in the middle. Defensively, she's still developing, but she's got the tools to become a strong blocker. If she can work on her footwork and timing at the net, she'll be even more of a force. Heidi is definitely a player to watch as she continues to grow.
