One of the biggest tourney's in the state of Texas usually brings together the best competition that there is to offer from all over and is called the Tour of Texas. The level of competition is so great that teams from all over the country fly in for it. There are teams from Georgia, California, Illinois and Utah who are slated to join the best in Texas. The level of talent on the courts was phenomenal and we were in person to cover the event. Let's take a look at who stood out for these awesome teams.

Carly is currently an unranked prospect in the 2028 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but that is only because I have not released them yet. She plays volleyball at Livingston High School and plays club for the [program_tooltip program_id='510661' first='Houston' last='Skyline'] volleyball program. I watched a lot of volleyball this past weekend and saw a ton of platforms contact the ball and I am not sure that there was a better platform than that of Miss Pipes. Her attention to detail with creating amazing angles was very noticeable as she held her form well after contact of the ball. This kind of attention to hold her form tells me that she really understands the importance of leading the setter with the ball. While a lot of players tend to move their arms once the ball makes contact with it, Carly was froze her platform and it was the main factor of why her team was able to run fast paced offense. I was equally impressed with both her movement on the court and her posture while playing the ball. She has so much body control that helps her stay very consistent with delivery to her setter. She will be in the running for a top libero spot in her grad class once I release the State Ranking List in a few weeks. Stay tuned for more on this phenom as we cover her career very closely.

Addison is currently an unranked prospect in the 2028 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but that is only because I have not released them yet. She plays volleyball at Plano East High School and plays club for the Dallas Skyline volleyball program. There were a lot of aspects about the libero position that stood out when I watched Miss Tucker compete this weekend. One of the main ones was how she was able to use her entire body to absorb hard driven contact and keep the ball on her team's side of the court. This allowed her setter to run their offense very efficiently and have more scoring opportunities. The way she lunged out to her side and still used her arms to cushion the ball was fantastic to watch. The game seems to slow down for her as she reads the play. It never seems as if anything sped her up and this kept her calm, cool, and collected to give her team peace. This kind of calmness about her is something that a lot of coaches will notice in her play and love to have on their roster in a few years. This is leading by example that a lot of people talk about. The fact that she is only a class of 2028 and plays like this is telling about how much better she will get with more experience. Keep your eyes on her now!

Rileigh is currently ranked as the 34th best overall prospect in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays volleyball at Johnson School and plays club for the Austin Skyline volleyball program. I was able to watch a very well contested and difficult three set victory on Sunday against a tough [program_tooltip program_id='431200' first='Madfrog' last=''] 17 National Green team and I was thoroughly impressed with what I saw from Miss Butler. She was very poised and in control as she covered the back row and nothing seemed to faze her. By being unflappable on the court during tough times, it really keep the composure of the entire team even. The future Ole Miss Rebel can truly do it all in the back row with speed and precision. Not only does she pass nails for her squad, but she also allows her offense to swing away with confidence knowing that she is back there covering them in case they get blocked. In a team full of studs, I was very impressed with her leadership and overall play.
