About Kalia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my gameplay style as energetic and joyful. I am a great communicator and leader on my team, and I always have something positive to say to my teammates to lift them up. I always have something positive to say towards all of them. You can always hear my voice on the court.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is that if you work hard, you can always achieve your goals. My personality is that I am very friendly and kind to everyone. I will lift up and encourage everyone, on or off the court. I am a good teammate to everyone. I like to see my teammates happy!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am the VP of Philanthropy with NCL (National Charity League - a mother / daughter community service organization). I received an award for serving 25+ hours in my community last year, and have already served over 30 hours this year. I am also in NJHS through my school. I have a 4.0 GPA in all honors classes, and I have received the Lion Pride award 3 times for high academic achievement.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

There are many leadership, teamwork, and servant lead qualities I have developed through both volleyball and serving my community. I know how to get along well with people and lead them to a common goal through constant communication and working together. I've enjoyed leading by example with being a junior coach to my little brothers coed rec and 12u boys club teams to share my love of the game.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I fractured my growth plate in my ankle in November last season and was out for two months. When I returned, I had to fight to earn my spot on the court back. It was a very humbling experience, but I am better for it. I worked hard, and I've learned through experience that hard work pays off and to never give up. I had the highest hitting % in 3rd sets and became an impact player for my team.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for high academic schools with a great volleyball program. I would like to play for a college that prioritizes community service, academics, and treating the team like family. I am looking for a school that celebrates hard work, dedication, and love for the game.

Miss Hart is a 2029 pin attacker who brings an unmistakable edge and competitive fire to the court every time she plays. Her passion is contagious, elevating the energy level of her teammates and setting the tone for her squad from the opening serve. She attacks with an aggressive mindset from anywhere on the court, showing no hesitation to take big swings in high-pressure situations. In fact, those moments seem to bring out her best volleyball, as she consistently thrives when the spotlight is brightest. Hart has clearly embraced the role of being the go-to hitter, and she carries that responsibility with confidence and authority. Her right arm generates serious power, allowing her to score cleanly through the block or tool defenders when needed. Beyond her offensive production, she is equally valuable in the back row, where her ball control and defensive discipline allow her to play all six rotations without coming off the floor. That complete skill set makes her an invaluable piece to her team’s success. Simply put, Drive Nation will go as far as Hart can take them, and her ceiling suggests that path could be a long and impressive one.
