The Class of 2028 is still coming together in terms of what players are going to emerge from the pack.

A talented group, some have clearly established themselves at the top already. However, there are still plenty of prospects that can make that climb that we haven't seen the best of yet.

Here's the first of our two-part look at some 2028 prospects that have earned more coverage.

[player_tooltip player_id='644173' first='Brooklyn' last='Beardsley'], MB Lake Fenton/Michigan Elite

A 6-foot middle, Beardsley is challenging herself to be able to take all the shots needed to be successful. She's responding well to playing at a fast tempo and her footwork has allowed her to play ahead of blockers. Beardsley slides well and is ready for a quick set at any moment. She also battles hard defensively. She's showing a high ceiling for where her game can go.

[player_tooltip player_id='644157' first='Addison' last='Bultynck'], OH Romeo/Michigan Elite

Bultynck looks to have a high ceiling as a prospect. She's got a long reach and good lift on the floor, so she can challenge blockers with her length. She also does a nice job of adjusting her arm angles on her swing to still get good contact on sets that miss their spot. Bultynck looks comfortable away from the net as well, as she can still make aggressive plays from anywhere on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='644166' first='Ella' last='Foltz'], S/DS Flushing/Michigan Elite

Foltz has been able to be effective with her setting and her defensive play. In both cases, she shows above-average footwork and the ability to cover a lot of space. She does a good job of making her passes and serve receive accurate for her fellow setter. When leading the offense, Foltz can hit both pins with accuracy and touch.

[player_tooltip player_id='726856' first='Rania' last='Hamada'], OH/DS Troy/High Performance

Hamada is a player that shows a diverse set of skills and a good foundation for her abilities. The ball has good pop off her hand, but there's definitely room for improvement when it comes to her approach and timing. Her defensive choices are good and she shows the ability to quickly react to an incoming attack, so that level of instinct should eventually start to apply to her offense as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='742031' first='Harper' last='Klein'], OH Saline/L2

Klein has good length and plays with a lot of scrappiness at the net. She's able to power through blockers, but also is attentive enough to win a lot of 50-50 balls. Like most at this age, there's room for her to grow in technique and tempo, but she's got the fundamentals down to build her game off of. Her willingness to make the little plays will help her go far as a prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='722932' first='Rebecca' last='Pavlik'], S/DS Lutheran Northwest/Legacy

Pavlik has had an opportunity to get a lot of reps already in her prep career, which has helped her add new facets to her game. She's able to adapt well for a 2028 prospect, making nice feeds to hitters when the offense is out of system. Pavlik has good touch on the ball and mixes things up well in the offense. She also shows a promising defensive foundation, as well as a promising serve.

[player_tooltip player_id='628137' first='Gianna' last='Vettraino'], OH/DS Eisenhower/Legacy

Vettraino has the ability to get up and make herself long at the net, which as allowed her to do a nice job of high-pointing her attacks. She's got an aggressive finish to her swing that gives her some extra power as well. As she gets more reps, her swing should become quicker and a little smoother, but she's already got a good foundation behind her athleticism off the floor.

The Class of 2028 is still coming together in terms of what players are going to emerge from the pack.
