Queen of the Quad: New Names, Big Time Talent

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Queen of the Quad provided excellent competition in a fun venue. Walking around the facility for two days, I was amazed with all of the new high level talent. Yes, It is nice to see some of those players again that we have been impressed with in the past and have been following, but discovering new talent is my favorite. Not only does she take big rips from the back court and the pins, but her ability to track an out of system ball and still take a big swing with pace on it was impressive. Bohonek also knows how to work with the block in front of her. I was immediately taken by her ability to transition quickly off the net, explode to the pin, and deliver a big lethal attack (her line shots are especially impressive). Lecaj also played solid off blocker defense. She plays with tremendous determination and grit. Aggressive in everything that she does, Sherman was solid in not only attacking but serve receive and passing. When I first saw her, she was taking huge swings from the back court and continued that power and momentum as she rotated to the front court. I also liked her selection of shots. She has a range of shots and the ability to disguise what she is doing making it hard for defenders to read her. Her roll shots are especially impressive and she capitalized by frazzling and frustrating many opponents. Her serve receive was on point. She passes off her midline and delivers balls consistently to target. Trained also as a setter, she has an advantage as she can read the opposing team well and positions herself in just the right spot to defend and pick up many attacks. Morrissey also provided solid block coverage giving her team many second chance options.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
