About Alexis

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a very fast pace player. I get after every ball and am willing to chase any ball down. I am able to play at any level!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a strong go getter. I’m very passionate about everything I do helping me give 100% in everything I do.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I created a Fellowship of Christian Athletes club at my school. I am in NHS and Younglife. I have received many honor roll awards and outstanding student awards.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed a strong leadership role from volleyball just learning how to help your teammates and know what to say and when. Which has also helped me develop a strong teamwork skill because you can’t do everything alone especially in volleyball. So it is very good to rely on your teammates and vise versa.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

A challenged I have faced before was getting hurt my freshman year right after being pulled up to varsity. It took a very bad toll on me leaving me to think I’d never be able to prove myself. With great doctors and a fast recovery I was able to come back to volleyball pretty fast and have a great club season proving myself wrong.

What type of college are you looking for?

I don’t have a preference when it comes to college I’m open to what ever is open to me!
