Although Princeton did not find much match win success this past fall, Simons gained valuable experience as a freshman as one of their top offensive performers. Her growth is noticeable and one unique aspect I like about her game is that she is a lefty, one of a few identified in this class so far. Her club effort with OPVC is showing more risk and confidence in her arm swing, which includes some good pace upon contact, while also highlighting her skills defending at the net and being able to contribute to the passing game.
