Rinn had great success playing for the TAV Houston 16 Black team that tied for fifth in the event with five wins and three losses. She made a major impact with her blocking, getting stops and keeping opponents under pressure when she was at the net. Rinn was excellent with her movement at the net, getting to the pins on time almost every time, and was very aggressive in how she placed her arms to take up space from opponents. She also did well offensively, showing good vision and confidence to swing the ball.

Chloe Rinn Chloe Rinn MH TX , a 5’11” middle hitter in the Class of 2028 from College Station TAV Houston 16 Black, plays at an open-level pace and consistently challenges opposing defenses. She does an excellent job putting pressure on the libero, mixing up her attacks and forcing tough reads with varied tempo and shot selection. Rinn is committed at the net, getting up on every block and pushing strongly through her shoulders to take away space. Her ability to press and stay disciplined results in constant touches that slow the opposing offense. Rinn continues to stand out as a middle who impacts the game in multiple ways.

Rinn plays high school volleyball for College Station and is part of the TAV Houston club program. She wasn’t the tallest or most physical middle out there, but when it came to intensity, no one came even close to matching her. Whether on offense or defense, Rinn was always on the move and seemed to give everything she had in each play. Her offense was extremely powerful, combining a strong approach, great ability to get off the floor and a heavy and quick right arm. The middle also stood out with her blocking, reading plays in front of her extremely well, and playing aggressively above the net.

Chloe is currently ranked as the 60^th best overall prospect in the 2028 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings.  She plays for College Station High School and also for the TAV Houston club.  Miss Rinn surprised a lot of people with her dominant performance out of the middle.  Not only was she a show-stopping blocker, but she also excelled on the offensive end as well.  She was on time for every quick route and routinely swung with aggressiveness that usually ended up being scores for her squad.  What truly stood out to me when I watched her was how she moved the ball around the block with ease in order to not be predictable on offense.  In order to do this, one must be really good with court vision when they are up in the air and that is exactly what Miss Rinn did throughout the entire event.  She made a strong case for moving up the State Ranking list when we do an update in a few months with her production in front of college coaches and Prep Dig scouts.  Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this showcase.
