Hughes was possibly the strongest front-line player at the showcase. She had moments where she was dominant and unstoppable on offense when things were flowing perfectly. She showed off an effective slide but produced a lot of damage on swings from both pins. She showcased her ability to move out to the pin if needed. She was one of the top blockers in the gym, also sending back numerous balls off the attack.

I have only seen footage of Hughes, so I look forward to seeing her live in action at the showcase. The 6’0″ athlete has taken reps from both the middle and the opposite positions. She is still raw on the right side, but you can see the potential as she continues to improve her footwork. In the middle, she shows quickness off the ground with quick sets.
