How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I like to play with power taking advantage of my vertical jump, quickness, and arm speed. I hate to let balls hit the floor. I love blocking, can play any front row position and I’m a backup setter. I like to play all around and take pride in my passing.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I like to laugh and smile. I have fun while competing and like the excitement of close games. I look at each new serve as a chance to do something great for the team. I like the feeling of being in a close match and playing against tough competitions.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Key Club, Student Athlete Leadership Team (SALT),

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

In 8th grade, I won the Archie Griffin award for the highest level of competition, sportsmanship, and service. Only one athletes per school wins this award in Ohio and is voted on by coaches from mine and opponents schools. I was nominated to be a member of Student Athlete Leadership Team at Anderson High School. I won the ECC Conference Schokar Athlete Award for having the highest GPA

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

At 5’9”, I’ve worked to increase my vertical jump to better compete against taller players. My jump right now is 9’7” and I have a goal of being a 10’ jumper.

What type of college are you looking for?

One with good academics, and good STEM programs. A college with a sense of community and supports women’s athletics. And definitely a good volleyball program!
