Bruemmer is a high-elbow attacker with good length and range at 6’2. When she is on time and her setters can extend her touch point, she can challenge the defense well at the point of contact. A reserve option offensively for her Anderson team in her freshman varsity season this past Fall, she was one of the best in the ECC on the other side of the ball as she finished top five in blocking. Elevation has some good core pieces on this team and if she can score, their balance will be dangerous to defend for opponents. They finished 5th at the recent Nike Classic.

Bruemmer showed off her size and athleticism the entire event going hard every play. Bruemmer took a number of quality swings from the pins and middle landing balls in different zones on the court. Brummer nailed a number of ones, shoves to the sides and slides in addition to other shots. She also made a number of quality out of system sets. Bruemmer will be a force for the Elevation 15-1 Ed this spring with her work ethic.

Bruemmer saw some good action as a freshman for Anderson in her first varsity season. She competed in 84 total sets earning 78 kills and 66 blocks. At 6’0, she is capable of a lot more and will showcase that as she returns to the club season. She has a good skill foundation and a potentially high ceiling as a middle, which should draw good attention given the competitive schedule Elevation will see over the course of the club schedule.
