About Addie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play smart with strategic plays when needed. Aggressive, quick reaction time, able to adjust.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a positive and competitive player. When I'm not playing I am always cheering on my team. i am always seeking how to improve. Work hard, play hard! I always find a way to make people smile. Do I get down, yes, but I work hard to change my mental game as soon as possible.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in my high school leadership program helping to plan and lead activities at our high school. I also work in our child development classroom teaching pre-schoolers.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Kindness, empathy, patience, communication skills, great listener and advice giver.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have struggled with vision and learning disabilities. My eyes didn't work together until finishing a year of intensive vision therapy the summer of 2024. Due to this I have struggled in school and on the court with the inability to track words or a ball in the air. I have had to overcome issues with hand eye coordination and I have done well. I have only played volleyball since 8th grade.

What type of college are you looking for?

Open to any school where I can keep playing volleyball, I love the game!
