Myla caught my attention during positional training. I was watching her and she was well above the net with her hands blocking. Then during games she got a bunch of touches at the net which made life easier for her DS/L in the back row. Good jumper and she can hit too. But her footwork and work at the net blocking caught my attention.

She did a good job this past weekend reading the opposing teams setter, reacting, and using her speed and strong footwork to put up a solid block across the net. Habelman also has a strong arm. She was able to successful connect with many sets to deliver hard kills to generate points for her team as they battled in the gold bracket.
