The 17 Bid division at the 2025 Lone Star Regionals was packed with high-level volleyball and future collegiate talent on full display. As these athletes inch closer to their senior seasons, many are already proving they're ready for the next level. They demonstrate readiness mentally, physically, and competitively. From dominant net play to disciplined back row defense, the performances this weekend were nothing short of electric. In this article, I'm highlighting five standout players who proved they're more than ready for the next level.    [player_tooltip player_id='318144' first='Jaci' last='Hall'] was a standout in the 17 Bid division, showing off an impressive vertical and unmatched timing at the net. Her hang time allows her to wait out the block. She consistently swings when defenders are already on their way down. This makes her nearly unstoppable. Jaci's killer line shot, smart shot selection, and strong hitter coverage highlight her high volleyball IQ. She plays all six rotations with confidence and body control, making a major impact in every phase of the game.     [player_tooltip player_id='518983' first='Caryme' last='Molina'] ran the court with poise and precision, proving to be a dynamic setter with excellent court awareness. Her connection with the middle hitter was sharp and reliable, creating quick, hard-to-read attacks. Caryme's strength stood out as she effortlessly delivered accurate sets from the right sideline all the way to the pin. She also displayed her defensive grit. She executed clutch digs and smart plays. Her first-ball dumps caught defenses off guard and landed deep in open corners.     [player_tooltip player_id='254239' first='Karli' last='Glover'] may be small in stature, but she plays with major impact. As an outside hitter, her vertical and hang time are nothing short of impressive. They allow her to elevate above the block and deliver a powerful, explosive swing. Karli is also a disciplined defender in all six rotations, showing sharp instincts and consistency. When called on to set, she delivers clean, accurate balls with ease. A true all-around athlete, Karli's game reflects the time and dedication she's clearly put into mastering every skill on the court. She's excellent at changing the flow of the game, even if it means twisting mid-air or contorting her body to deliver the perfect ball. Her jump sets are consistently accurate, even from well off the net, keeping her hitters in rhythm. On defense, Simone reads the game well and has no problem picking up tough line shots with ease. Her court awareness and adaptability make her a major asset to any lineup.     Bella Law displayed excellent leadership and consistency as a setter throughout the tournament. She did a phenomenal job covering her hitters and staying active on every play. Bella moved the ball around with intention, keeping blockers off balance and her offense flowing. No matter where she was on the court, her ball placement remained consistent, delivering clean, smooth sets that made life easier for her hitters. Her calm control and precision set her apart in the 17 Bid division.    The 17 Bid division at Lone Star Regionals was full of rising seniors who proved they're ready to lead, compete, and elevate their game at the next level. Whether it was powerful swings, strategic setting, or all-around versatility, each of these athletes brought something special to the court.
