Iowa 2029 Has Chance to Be Special Class

A member of it lives in my house. You can say I've watched top student-athletes in this cycle grow up in the game. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This group has a chance to be really good. Time will tell how it will stack up when they finish their prep careers. Degroot's presence in the middle of the net is a big reason why. She's tall with long arms. Degroot complements those gifts with athleticism and explosiveness. While she has a good feel for the position, she could find success at a pin with her skill set. No position is more stocked than middle hitter. Asche is a member of that group and a big reason why CIA finished third in the Iowa regional, earning a national tournament bid. Asche is a steady two-way middle capable of putting the ball down or blocking it. She's athletic and aggressive. She's physically grown while keeping her athleticism and improving her consistency. Guinn has been a key piece to the success of the state's top 14U team. The group qualified for the Open Division at USAV nationals. Guinn is an explosive athlete with good leaping ability and explosion off of the court. Her versatility allows her to contribute at both pins. Solon graduated lot of talent from last year's varsity team. I saw it again at the Iowa regional. Both times Smith was always one of the top performers in every match. She mixes power and agility, standing out as an advanced player in the middle of the net. Smith has a hammer of a swing, using sound technique in creating efficiency. She swings really well from the pin, showing a good deal of consistency, especially for the age group. Davis combines an impressive vertical with solid hang time. In the back row, her athleticism shows up in lateral movement. Her PowerPlex outfit qualified for nationals during the event with Dolan playing an important role in making that happen. She embodies what makes a defensive specialist successful by combining quickness, sharp reflexes with instincts and communication. Dolan reads the attack well, which helps her get positioned to deliver usable passes. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
