Zgonc continues to demonstrate one of the heaviest arms in this Ohio class. She can simply get up and punish the ball, especially when she has space in front of her to swing freely. As this team has good ball control action, she often gets and finds space in the variety of attacking options she sees at the pins or in combination in the middle area of the floor. When defenders are up, she knows well how to swing at the edges of the block. That skill and I.Q. shows up in her passing as well as she demonstrates ease and composure in her reaction and movement.     Koenig continues to show good growth in her game each time she is evaluated. At 6'0, she has some of the best length in this class among the setters and her ability to use her length at the net to score herself at the second touch keeps defenses off-balance, which can benefit the offense she can run when she dishes. She uses her middles through a good range of options that helps her develop good balance from pin to pin.     Newland (*pictured) is currently among the top libero prospects in this 2027 Ohio class. She anchors this team's passing as well as defensively primarily from the left back position. She reacts well to what she sees, including filling space behind the block to be able to make a play on a hard hit ball traveling untouched at the net. Her balance defensively also helps her to create good range as she has quickness in her first step to help her cover a lot of court in all directions.     Aschkenasy has good range in her offensive options as she can stretch the defense through a quick option off one foot among other locations in front of the setter. When on time she can generate good power as her scoring helps to create more space and alleviate some attention from the defense upon their big outside hitter presence.     VanHuss is an effective piece to form a complementary middle tandem. She has good movement around her setter to be able to create space to swing, especially in her transition work to identify the ball and get back to the net and up. Getting her last step closed to the ball more consistently will increase her range toward the edges of the block and into space.     Trzcinski does a good job in supporting her team from the DS/L role as she has good tools in both serve receive and defensively that can get their offense going. When passing, she tracks the ball well with good angle production by facing the ball and maintaining good balance to contact. Defensively, she is scrappy with good quickness and big effort in her pursuit as needed.     Skulski is another contributor with good tools that helps establish good first-touch action, which is a strength for this team among their primary passers and back row athletes. Where she can shine is on the defensive side as she reads and prepares well to use a good first step to get to the ball with angles that can get her setter into good situations. She also shows good composure in the passing phase as well.
