2027 -Impactful Outsides

Madelyn has taken Parkway Central to another level; the left pin provides a ton of offensive output for HPSTL 16 Royal. Madelyn is a high-flying 5'6” outside who plays well above her height and can thump the ball. She is a great six-rotation player with a great jump serve, terrific passing game, and a tough middle back defender who can fly out of the back row and score when needed. Do not let her height fool you; the kid is a big-time baller.     The Gordon family in Centralia is familiar and athletic. Ryenn is following in her sister's footsteps and developing into a powerful attacker on the left pin. She doesn't leave the floor and leads by example. She is another undersized high flyer who will jump out of the gym and bounce the ball. When she's not bouncing balls on the volleyball court, she's draining 3s and dishing dimes on the basketball court.     [program_tooltip program_id='428797' first='Pursuit' last=''] VBC has done a great job with Rylie this club season. At 5'11”, she is a big outside hitter with power who can hit on either pin or pass and plays defense extremely well. For Leopold High School, she is a six-rotation player with the ability to score anywhere along the net. Rylie has a high volleyball IQ, a long wingspan, and a great vertical that puts her above the blockers. Rylie's one player that is hard to stop and fun to watch.     A six-rotation outside for her HPSTL 16 Orange, Albany, is a tough outside hitter to stop. She has a great swing with a high contact point, which allows her to hit over blockers. She also sees the block extremely well, which will enable her to slit the seam. Albany plays great on the defensive side of the ball, is a terrific passer, and is one of the best celebrators of her teammates' success. Albany is a next-level athlete who can play anywhere on the court. Albany lists her dream job as an FBI agent.     I noticed Ava when she hammered 18 kills against Incarnate Word last year. At 5'11”, she is already tall enough to play at the next level. Her versatility includes playing on either pin and scoring consistently on both pins. She's long and could be a big-time opposite at the next level, as she can get armpits above the net and with significant penetration on the block.     The 5'9” outside for St. Louis Vision VBC and Nerinx Hall is another player with much untapped potential. June's improvement from high school volleyball to club has been significant, which should help the Markers even more this coming fall. Her improvement will continue as she gains more experience. June's favorite shots are the deep cross corners; she can hit them consistently.
