High flying and hard hitting, Havanna has all the upside to be a six-rotation player at the highest level. She doesn’t rattle, and she is laser-focused when it is time to play. Ability playing back row, with accurate passing and good technique, makes her a real threat and all around. 

I caught Impact 15-1 Elite during the 2026 Nike President’s Day Classic in St. Louis. Dolbeare immediately caught my attention working through six rotations as an outside hitter. From the pin, Dolbeare attacks with power generated from long arms and elevation to get on top of the ball well above the net, particularly for her age. She gets off of the court quickly, which, with her long arms and height, makes her a factor in defending at the net. Dolbeare is skilled in the back row, too, with sharp actions and a smooth flow. She reads the ball well and is a technically sound passer. Dolbeare impacted matches as an Ankeny Christian freshman last fall, piling up 227 kills (.291) with 76.0 blocks and 112 digs. I watched Dolbeare at the 2025 Quad Cities Showdown and Iowa Regional Qualifer, and it was good to see her again at Midwest Live. She’s a unique player because of her versatility, which is made possible by athleticism and agility. That’s evidenced by her finishing third in the eighth-grade state track meet last month with a leap of 4 feet, 8 inches. She also was 7th in the discus and 11th in the 100 meters. Like most players heading into high school, Dolbeare is sharpening her volleyball skills and chasing consistency. But rest assured, the foundation is there for success at multiple positions.

Welcome to the future. Dolbeare was among several 2029s at our showcase and displayed maturity beyond her years. This Ankeny Christian freshman-to-be has an impressive medley of shots in her arsenal, including some effective rolls shots in front of backcourt defenders. Dolbeare also wielded her impressive blocking technique to get ahead of opposing attackers in team drills. Her upward trajectory is just beginning.
