At 6’3, Weakley does not go unnoticed as she makes her way across the front row through her three offensive rotations. Seeing her primarily playing on the right side, she can swing from the left and middle as well. At opposite though, with a high contact point, she provided good impact to create balance in their offense from both sides of the court. As well, what she can provide physically as a blocker was also imposing at times as she took care of opposing hitters without question a few times.

At 6’3, Weakley (*pictured) provides the best length on the this team as she is a feature part of their overall effort on both sides of the ball. At the recent River Rumble, they utilized her in a variety of ways as she had the opportunity to showcase her development as a middle through quick options as well as on both pins in her ability to get up and use her size to contact high on a slower tempo set. She had some big moments on time and balanced that let opponents know she can score aggressively.

Weakley excels at controlling the net with her size and agility. Weakley has a good net approach and makes a number of things happen in the middle and pins. Weakley gets her hands on balls then quickly sends them to open parts of the court. Weakley runs effective tandems and can hit balls off blocks or send balls to different spots on gaps. Weakley can also use her off (left) hand to land tip kills. She makes controlled first touches and forces a lot of tips on her double blocks making it easier for defensive specialists to track down. Weakley credited both her club and high school teammates and coaches for pushing her to improve. She also credited the Fremont community for supporting the team on the journey.

Weakley’s stock grew this club season as she has made good progress in her foundation as a middle. She has bettered her footwork to improve her spacing and timing that allows her to use her 6’2 length more aggressively and at a high contact point. She will return to Ross (Fremont) this fall and could make a splash in her sophomore season for the Little Giants.
