<p>The club season recently concluded with the USAV GJNC in Dallas, TX. As we are seeing selections for next year's club teams being announced along with high school teams starting summer training and preparing for the August start to the season. Many of these fall squads will feature athletes that participated all the way to the end of the club season, gaining valuable development and competitive experience. Here are some notes for both 16U and 17U GJNC teams from Ohio, including results among top-30 teams and those individuals earning all-tournament recognition.</p>

<p><strong><em>16U Results</em></strong></p>

<p>The prestigious 16 Open division saw [program_tooltip program_id='430764' first='AVC' last='CLE'] 16 Red placing highest among OVR teams at 21st overall as they won the Flight 1 bracket. The 16 National division saw an NKYVC 16-1 Tsunami team earn 13th place as they feature some athletes from Ohio. Also placing top-30 in this division was [program_tooltip program_id='431555' first='Mintonette' last=''] m.62 at 26th. In the 16 Freedom division, [program_tooltip program_id='431783' first='Hot' last='Shots'] 16 Black finished tied for 23rd overall. </p>

<p><strong><em>17U Results & Awards</em></strong></p>

<p>A silver medal was earned in the 17U age group as CVC 17 Black took second place in the 17 USA division with a 10-1 overall record. They lost just four total sets along the way. [program_tooltip program_id='431679' first='NOVA' last='Juniors'] 17 Navy finished tied for 23rd overall in the same division. In the 17 Patriot division [program_tooltip program_id='431555' first='Mintonette' last=''] m.74 and [program_tooltip program_id='431555' first='Mintonette' last=''] m.73 paced 21st and 27th respectively. [program_tooltip program_id='431555' first='Mintonette' last=''] m.72 wrapped up their club season with a 13th place showing in 17 National. [program_tooltip program_id='431659' first='Buckeyefire' last=''] McKnight 17 earned a 13th place finish in 17 Freedom while [program_tooltip program_id='431555' first='Mintonette' last=''] m.71 competed in 17 Open, concluding the club cycle with a 7-3 record and a top-10 finish in ninth place. Both TVC 17 Black and [program_tooltip program_id='431827' first='Elevation' last=''] 17 Chicas also competed in 17 Open among the nation's top elite 17U teams, finishing 18th and 27th respectively. </p>
