About Laila

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I stay cool under pressure and like to keep things fun. I’m all about good energy and teamwork.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m not the loudest, but I lead through consistency and effort. I’m always trying to get a little better every day, hard work keeps me motivated.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Beta Club, Richard William’s Academy, L’Amitié.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills through both school and community service. Each year, I participate in my school’s community service projects, which has taught me how to work well with others and give back in meaningful ways. I also serve as a summer camp counselor with the Richard Williams Academy, where I help younger students learn discipline and confidence.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, I’ve faced challenges, but they’ve taught me resilience and focus. Balancing school, sports, and community service isn’t easy but it’s helped me develop discipline, time management, and a strong work ethic.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that values both academics and athletics a place where I can grow as an athlete, and a person. I want a supportive environment with good coaching, a good team, and opportunities to stay involved in the community.
