Wymer is a newer middle to me, but watch her for a while and it doesn’t take long to see she’s got real potential. She has good height, a quick arm swing, and can terminate at a high rate. She moves well in transition and is pretty comfortable running both the gap and the slide, which can make her tough to defend. She’s one we’re excited to track as she continues to grow and develop her game.

Lana Wymer Lana Wymer State MN brought explosive energy to the middle position. Wymer’s first-step quickness allowed her to beat blockers in transition, and her high contact point made her difficult to defend. She attacked the seam aggressively and converted key swings that turned defensive stops into points.
At the net, Lana showed improved discipline, pressing hands over rather than drifting. She adjusted well to different offensive tempos and maintained balance closing to the pins.
